Ben Catt

Ben Catt was born in London in 1970. He studied sculpture in Newcastle before beginning a career working for a leading design company. Ben moved to Cornwall several years ago and his paintings have since gained many followers.

Working outside in the countryside around Penzance and in his studio, a granite shed at the end of his garden, Ben feels the full force of the elements. His paintings evoke the feelings and emotions conjured up by these weather conditions, the changing seasons and the rugged Penwith landscape. Ben’s work has been shown throughout Cornwall and nationwide.
