Jonty Henshall
Jonty Henshall (b.1965) ended up studying biology to degree level after being told he couldn’t study art and science. He found his own way into making art via furniture and sculpture in the early 90s, using a big variety of found objects, and using extensive colour in his work. Jonty started painting in 2000, always employing mixed media, using epoxy and polyester resins, fibreglass, paint, and even smarties on occasion!
Jonny’s furniture and sculpture have been widely shown and sold throughout the UK, with his paintings exhibited at The Tyler Gallery, Salt House St Ives, Kings Bridge, Newquay, Padstow, as well as at the Affordable Art Fairs in London.
Our current selection of Jonty’s paintings have a pigmented fibreglass base, and mixed paint with coloured pencil.
