The late Bernard Evans was a regular site in and around West Cornwall for many years as much of his work was completed en plein air. Bernard worked mainly in oils and was predominantly a figurative/landscape and representational painter. Born in Liverpool in 1929 he moved to Cornwall in 1976 and established The Mounts Bay Arts Centre, he was a member and past President of The Newlyn Society of Artists.
